Bingham Family Reunion

In June most of the Bingham family (minus one brother and his family) went to Park City for a family reunion. We went swimming, shopping on historic Main Street, ate lots of yummy food and went on a nature walk. After the nature walk we built "Earth Homes" out of objects we found along the way.

Finished Earth Home

Ryan really liked the sandbox nearby. He liked the sand in the sandbox the best though. He was a little bored while waiting for everyone to do their thing.
Leah bored too.

I made these nature walk bags for the kids to collect things from nature to build their earth homes with. The only place to hang them for a picture was in the dark, cramped hallway so the pictures aren't great.

This one was Leah's. I was using it for a little purse but now I can't find it. So sad! Hopefully when we finally get all unpacked I'll find it again.

February Washington Trip

Leah's "Narnia" room
Leah slept in Nana and Baba's "Narnia" room. She had to pass through the coats to get to the room in back.
There was doll furniture and a bucket full of toys to play with. We were surprised that she actually slept in spite of all the fun things to play with. She slept on an air mattress with her sleeping bag on top.

At the Park with Baba
This was a really fast slide with a really sharp edge at the bottom. Leah slipped off and hit her head pretty hard. The only thing that would calm her down was to have Baba push her on the swing.

Throwing Pine Cones

Leah enjoyed throwing pine cones into the lake, Baba liked all her funny attempts at throwing. Only a few made it into the water.

On the Table
We had a picnic lunch while at the park. Ryan wasn't too happy for most of it but I was able to catch great little smile.

Tea Party with BabaNana has a wonderful tea party set. It was Baba's turn to have a tea party with Leah, complete with little baby cookies and peppermint tea. Love the clothespin in Leah's hair, Nana!

Baba and Ryan
Ryan loved Baba, especially when Baba was bribing him to stay in his arm by giving him white chocolate popcorn. I'm not so sure that is the best thing for a 9 month old to be eating.

Leah and RyanLeah and Ryan played really well together. Leah was "showing" Ryan how to play with this great toy. Ryan didn't really care though and Leah soon took over.
