Ryan has bronchiolitis. He has to have nebulizer treatments so he can breath properly. At first he had to have them every 4 hours, now we are able to go every 8 hours or so. The goal is to see if he can go 12 hours without any wheezing sounds in his lungs. I have a hard time hearing anything out of the ordinary though so I think he is almost over the worst of it. Ryan did very well with the treatments on the whole, this was the only time he actually laughed and smiled at Daddy though. Now he screams bloody murder whenever the mask comes close and the machine turns on. I feel like I'm torturing him while I try to hold him down so the mask doesn't ocme off. Sure will be glad when this is all over.Ryan has been REALLY crabby lately, ok for the past month at least. Turns out he has probably had bronchiolitis for a while, that coupled with an ear infection in each ear it is no wonder why he has been so crabby. He is turning into a happier baby now, I'm so relieved!
