The kids went out with Lance the day after Thanksgiving and got a tree from the grocery store lot. I believe this is the earliest we've ever gotten a tree. We got it all set up a couple of days later. The kids had fun putting all the ornaments on the tree, and then dressing up a bit themselves.

We've had this stocking for a couple of years and every year the kids get into it and jump around.

I love the kids in the giant stocking. You should take a picture of them with it ever year, whether they fit in it or not.
